We are excited to invite you to our second annual Warrior Baseball fundraising golf tournament! 

Warrior Baseball started in the summer of 2020 with 12 local kids and myself practicing a few days a week and playing games on the weekends.  I played a lot of baseball growing up as a kid, attended church regularly but never put my faith and sports together.  It was in 2020 where I could feel God directing me to start a baseball program and use it as a ministry to share my faith in God and what he has done in my life.  I couldn’t have imagined Warrior Baseball growing to where it is today.  This past year we had over 100 boys in our programs across southern Manitoba, along with 8 coaches who are not just highly skilled and knowledgeable of the game, but men of God.  

Phiippinas 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” We could not have done this without God’s leading and guidance. This past fall we were able to take our 18U and 16U travel teams to play against the Dak-Min Prospects teams in Fargo ND.  Both teams were also able to travel to Sioux Falls SD and play in the MidWest classic.  Our 18U team also had the opportunity to compete against my alma mater Valley City State University.  This was very special for me to see our boys play on the same field I had the privilege to play on in college.  Our team was also given a tour of the campus.  We plan to have the same schedule in the fall of 2025 with the possibility of adding another tournament.  

Throughout the winter we ran 13U, 15U, 16U & 18U baseball camps.  During our practices we focused on teaching the proper fundamentals, the importance of having a positive attitude, standing with character and integrity, giving your best effort at all times and doing it all with grit and determination.  At the end of each practice we sit down with the boys for about 15 minutes and have devotions and prayer time.  We challenged our 16U & 18U players & coaches to read the Bible and memorize scripture each week.

My Christian faith guides my life, and while I have never tried to force it on anyone, I also know that God has called me to live out my faith in all aspects of my life no matter what I am doing or who I am with.  Ephesians 6:10 says, “Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” 

We would like to thank all the players, coaches, parents, friends and sponsors who have supported Warrior Baseball these past few years and are excited to see what God has in store for us next! 

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at our golf tournament on Wednesday July 30, 2025 at the La Broquerie Golf Course.  Tee time is 10:00 am with registration starting at 9:00 am.  There will be prizes, longest drive, longest hit, closest to the hole and putting contests.  Funds raised will go towards our Warrior Baseball program!

 We will also offering an online store through ‘On Deck Apparel’.  If you would like to purchase any Warrior Baseball merch I will be sending out an email in June with more information.
